Meet the Founder
My name is Jaclyn Clarke and I’m the founder of Brave and Free Littles. As a child, I remember the outdoors always being a place of adventure, where I would test my imagination and play freely in the dirt. My happiest childhood memories were times spent outdoors, whether it was making mud pies, homemade flower perfumes or building stick forts. My family loved being outdoors and we were always hiking, camping or spending days swimming at the lake.
Now I have 2 active and adventurous boys of my own and I would love for them to look back on their own childhood with the same fondness and appreciation for nature that has been instilled in me. My ultimate happy place is being in the forest amongst the trees. My family and I love hiking, biking and camping in our free time. If we aren’t exploring a new trail we’re at a local pump track with our boys. I also love exploring all of the creative playgrounds Metro Vancouver has to offer. We’re so lucky to have so many beautiful and creative parks and playgrounds around us and that’s why I created this website, so that I could share all of the best family friendly places with all of you.

Who We Are
Brave and Free Littles was originally created as a motivator to get our own families outside more, but over the past year it has grown into a community resource that inspires and encourages other families to explore all of the awesome outdoor spaces around Metro Vancouver.
